In Level 1 (grade K-1), students learn how to properly structure and build a sentence. The Level 1 book teaches students about common and proper nouns, action verbs, basic pronouns, and conjunctions for sentences with multiple subjects or multiple actions. Students practice writing short, core sentences and later learn how to add “when” and “where” details and simple adjectives.

This book uses mostly pictures to prompt sentence writing and encourage interactive, “mix and match” exercises to help students build powerful, well-structured, telling sentences.
